Jan Dewijngaert – Managing Director

Over 11 years with EVP or previous management companies. Investment Director of GIMV, a leading Belgian private equity company, responsible for all operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Extensive private equity experience in the region and to  a lesser extent in the USA and Asia.

Age 50, studied Civil Engineer (1982) and Industrial Policy (1983) at the KU Leuven. Before joining GIMV in 1989, he worked for 5 years for KBC Bank in Brussels, Bremen and New York. During his professional career he completed several courses, including Corporate Financial Strategy at INSEAD, Fontainebleau and various EVCA courses.

Casper Heijsteeg – Managing Director

Over 9 years with EVP or previous management companies. Responsible for investing in, monitoring and exiting of 7 portfolio companies. Over 12 years active in private equity and investment advisory in Russia and other former Soviet republics. Executed a number of projects on behalf of European, North-American and Japanese multinationals.

Age 39, completed his MA Business Economics of the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands in April 1994. During his professional career he completed several executive courses including Advanced External Reporting at Kellogg's Business School, Chicago, USA; EVCA courses and Corporate Restructuring of the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Egor Paschina – Chief Financial Officer

Has been with EVP in 2001-2003 as a Financial Analyst and worked with IFC on the Russian Corporate Governance Project in 2003-05. Returned to EVP as Chief Financial Officer/Internal Controller in early 2005. Extensive experience with the pre-investment/post-investment process: origination, evaluation, deal structuring and negotiation, financial modelling and due diligence. Extensive experience in corporate governance assessments, corporate finance and internal control.

Age 32, Diploma in Economics (Corporate Finance), Ural State University, Ekaterinburg (2000), PhD in Economics, Ural State Economic University (2005). During his professional career, he has taken part in several courses, including on Russian and international accounting standards, corporate finance, internal risk control and management organized by various international organizations.

Sergey Malaev – Legal advisor

Over 10 years with Eagle Venture Partners or previous management companies. Extensive experience in all legal aspects of the investments and exits of the Funds. Responsible for all legal procedures within investment and exit process and for corporate legal issues in the portfolio companies. Many years experience as a Board representative on the Boards of Directors of EVP portfolio companies.

Age 59, completed his Economic Degree of the Institute of Economics and Statistic, Moscow. During his professional career he completed several courses including: Diploma of Russian Ministry of Finance to work as an investment fund manager, as a broker and a stock trader, Banking courses of ING Bank, The Netherlands, Venture Capital Training Course of European Venture Capital Association.
